Lions and Tigers and Bears...well, no bears actually

The Stockwells spent a gorgeous Friday at the Franklin Park Zoo, which is quite an impressive little zoo. We saw lots of different animals - Ethan's favorite was oddly the Baird's Tapir. The zoo had lots of great things for toddlers, including this sign . . .
(which Dads like too) . . .
a wooden pony to ride. . . a tunnel to crawl through . . .

and a merry-go-round that Ethan wasn't sure if he liked at first. . .

but apparently he loved it, because he had a huge tantrum when it was time to get off.

Stuck

With all the packing that's been going on at our house, I think Ethan is a little nervous he'll be left behind. So he decided to pack himself in the crockpot.

In the Park with Dad

In early celebration of Father's Day on Sunday, I thought I'd post some pictures of Ethan and Ben's last father-son trip to the park. The two boys went playing in the park after work on Tuesday, right before the Boston heat wave broke. Apparently they had the entire park to themselves (probably due to the extreme heat), and Ben followed Ethan around with his camera. These are a few of my favorite shots...

Man, It's Hot!
