An Unlikely Plaything

Ethan has loads of toys, stuffed animals, and books to play with, but his favorite plaything of all is the Joe's O's cereal box. He can sit for ten minutes gazing lovingly at and talking to his inanimate friend. I had to rescue Mr. Joe O from the trash on Thursday after the cleaning people threw it out - phew!

Spring!

Spring has finally come to Boston, and we have really enjoyed getting outside the last couple of days. Let's hope the weather stays warm - I think it will be difficult to bundle Ethan back up now that he's gotten his first taste of fresh air on his chubby little limbs.

Noni and Papi visit

Noni and Papi came to see us (well mostly to see Ethan) this past weekend. In addition to spoiling their grandson, Noni and Papi gave us their expert opinions (having moved how many times?!) on houses and condos on Sunday. Thanks for a great visit Mom and Dad!

The Baby Whisperer

Ethan and I traveled up to Newburyport today to visit Auntie Melissa, Beth, and little Samuel. We had a lovely lunch and took a nice walk around town. John was working from home, and it turns out that he is quite the baby charmer. Prior to posing for this photo, Ethan was getting a little fussy, but calmed immediately once he snuggled up to John. He's got quite the touch!

Happy Easter!

Grandma and Grandpa Stockwell joined us for Easter. The Easter Bunny passed us over this year (they don't make breastmilk-flavored candy) but Ethan will be ready for him next year!
