All the News That's Fit to Print - Spring 2012 Edition

This being the last day of spring, I thought it fitting to post a bunch of random photos of the fun we've been having over the past few months.  Life's busyness has gotten in the way of consistently documenting all the news, excitement, and developments in our neck of the woods, so here's a snapshot  of Spring 2012:
Enjoying a muffin at the Saturday morning Farmer's Market - boy do I love the return of market season!
Building with Geomags - a new favorite.  Dressing in interesting outfits - an old favorite.
(Note orange shirt matched with maroon sweats, beaded necklace and honking bling on his finger.)
No more training wheels!
Warming up after sprinkler tag with friends
Reading together.  And growing (and then shaving) a beard.

Taking in seven whole innings of a Sea Dogs game with the Owens clan in May
Enjoying a visit from Uncle Pauly (while fighting a bad cold with our "dinosaur medicine")
Surviving a seriously soggy stretch, which required much digging into the old rainy day toolbox
(crowd favorite: indoor camping)
Building farms, which continues to be a favorite activity for our horsey-lover
Planting seeds...
and potatoes.
Building a compost pile (just like Daddy's!)
So proud of his very own garden!
And Daddy's too!
Being wild and crazy (always a favorite activity in this house)
Keeping us laughing with the hilarious things that come out of his mouth
Reading with Grandpa on Father's Day - a lovely end to a lovely day spent listening to the Boy Singers of Maine/Dartmouth Aires concert and enjoying a delicious dinner in our "fancy room"
