93 Degrees

It's finally cooled down, but yesterday was quite the scorcher. Our landlords refuse to turn on the central air, so our apartment was quite the hotbox. We spent the late afternoon out on our porch, where Daddy had another one of his photo shoots. Here are a few of our favorites.

Beach Day

A Memorial Day weekend heatwave has hit the city of Boston, so we headed to Houghton Pond on Friday to beat the heat. Ethan loved his beach adventure, although he seemed quite perplexed by the water and the sand between his toes.

Papi Visits

Papi came for a quick visit last Thursday. He claimed to have client meetings in the area, but we're thinking he just wanted to visit Ethan again, all by himself. :) It was almost Ethan's bedtime when Papi arrived, but Papi managed to get him all riled up again, as good grandfathers do.

Ethan has a few very special hand-me-downs . . . from Dad! Here is one of our favorites (apparently it was one of Tom and Sue's favorites for Ben and Gwen too). We think it's quite retro chic.

Ethan has recently discovered his hands, and how tasty they are. No matter what toys we give him, his favorite activities are sucking his thumb, tasting each finger, and attempting to stuff his entire fist (or both fists!) in his mouth.
