Gobble Gobble

I think it's safe to say Ethan loved his first Thanksgiving. He was especially thankful for all the new foods and the constant attention from adoring relatives, both of which were plentiful throughout the weekend. We had a wonderful time at Noni and Papi's house, catching up with family, stuffing ourselves silly, and even playing "extreme" golf on Friday (35 degrees and very windy). We hope that you too enjoyed a happy and restful Thanksgiving with family and friends!

What Mom? I'm Just Doing Some Filing...

I am posting this picture against Ben's wishes (he thinks it will embarrass the little guy when he's older), but I just couldn't resist. We often let Ethan run around in the buff for a few minutes after his bath - he loves being naked (typical male, I guess). We realized that this might not be the best practice the other night, when we discovered a puddle on the floor in his nursery...oh well.

In other news, Ethan's first tooth has finally made its debut. You won't be seeing a picture of it anytime soon, as he guards it like his favorite new possession and doesn't let anyone in his mouth. His slobbery kisses are even more painful now, but his toothy grin is pretty cute.

Smooch!

Ethan practices his kissing technique on pretty much anyone/anything these days, including the sliding glass door...

Happy Halloween!

You may be wondering what Ben and I are dressed as for Halloween . . . well, you guessed it - a hippie and a piece of poop. Together we are "Hippie Crap", which is the name of Ben's Fantasy Football League. For those who are part of the league, the costume made a lot of sense. But to others (particularly the cab driver who "almost didn't pick us up because he wasn't sure whether this outfit was a costume"), we were a puzzling duo.

Trying New Foods

Since Ethan turned 9 months old last week, he has been given the green light to eat pretty much anything. I am not sure the pediatrician meant dead leaves when she said "anything", but Ethan thought he would give it a try anyway. It turns out he likes Mom's beef stew better.
