Santa Part I

We celebrated "Pre-Christmas" with Noni and Papi this weekend. It was a jam-packed 24 hours, filled with tree-decorating, cookie-making, and gift-opening. I think it's safe to say that Ethan likes Christmas, and Santa was VERY good to him. He could barely wait for Dad to finish constructing this cool contraption before playing with it.

He wasn't thrilled with his Colby cap, but we got him to wear it for a few seconds so we could snap a picture. Mom and Dad think it's adorable, so hopefully he'll get used to it.

And this great pushcart/block holder seems to be a favorite. By holding onto the handle for support, Ethan can take off in a full sprint down the halls - we are definitely getting glimpses of the terror that awaits us once this kid starts walking. The only problem is he hasn't figured out how to turn (or stop), so he goes barreling full-speed into walls...
After a fun-filled mini-Christmas, we headed to Newburyport yesterday afternoon to welcome another wonderful gift - Molly Doyle! Molly is absolutely beautiful and we were thrilled to meet her. Welcome Molly, and congrats Melissa and John!

He looks so cute in those overalls! Sounds like your walls (and furniture) are going to be getting a beating over the next few weeks.

I think Ethan is excited for 2008 to be the year of Ethan instead of the year of Ben.

Molly is very excited to see her cousin Ethan walking and crashing and terrorizing cats and dogs everywhere.

Merry early Christmas!
