December! But First a Little Recap...

December!  The most wonderful time of the year is here!  The holidays are in full swing at the Stockwell house - our decorations are up, the outdoor lights are strung, our elf Jones has returned from the North Pole, and the boys are loving their daily advent-calendar-candy-for-breakfast routine.  I know its cliched, but I feel like we were JUST HERE.  This fall, in particular, has just flown by.  So before we launch fully into all the merriment that is December, here's a little recap of our fall.

Waterford Road Race over Columbus Day weekend:
Run boys run!

Medal winners!

Planting blueberry bushes in memory of Luna:

Trip to the Lego Discovery Center in Boston for Adam's birthday (including lunch at his most favorite Sonic):
We told Adam he could bring one friend on this special trip and he chose his best bud from preschool, Eli
And Rice Krispie treats to celebrate Adam's actual birthday
(the Pokemon cake I made for his family party is not worthy of memorializing)
Annual Pumpkin Valley Farm outing:

Halloween:

A vampire and The Flash (The Flash was a last minute switch, much to Ethan's chagrin.  He had wanted Adam to be a vampire bat to coordinate with his costume.)
First real snow!  November 26th, the day before Thanksgiving:

 Thanksgiving at the Duck House:

Making birdfeeders at the Festival of Lights in Rockland
And sports, sports, and more sports.  Drawing logos, writing and rewriting schedules, picking games, watching games, watching highlights, talking about players, reading the Sports page...it goes on and on and on.  I sure am outnumbered.

Welcome December!  We're so glad you're here again!
