Backyard Campfire
Uncle Paul came to stay with us for a few days of his Maine vacation. While we stupidly left the camera at home during some key photo opportunities (our first trip to the beautiful Scarborough Beach, Ethan's first Sea Dogs game, etc.), I did manage to catch a few pictures of the boys building a campfire last night.
Here's a shot of the fire-builders - as you can see, they were quite proud of their creation. They even added some seating logs, so we could sit and enjoy the fire for much of the evening.
And what would a campfire be without s'mores? Ethan didn't have a whole s'more just yet, but he did get to toast and enjoy his first marshmallow.

You know you live in Maine when you build campfires in your backyard....looks like fun!
Look at those outdoorsmen. I like the sticky fingers, too.
I just looked at these again and noticed that in the first picture Ethan looks very nervous about whatever Uncle Paul is doing. I don't blame him.
