We woke up to a wintry wonderland this morning after the first sticking snowfall of the season blanketed us last night. We got 4 or 5 inches - the perfect amount to play in and get us in the holiday spirit, without the nuisance of too much shoveling or clean-up. The boys could not WAIT to get outside. The were in their snowgear by about 8:05.
"Oh yeah, I remember this stuff!"
"I'm not so sure...I haven't mastered walking in boots just yet."
"Time to get to work - we have lots of shoveling to do, Daddy!"
I know that we will soon be cursing this white fluffy stuff, but today we will revel in it. With the sun streaming down and the temperatures up, our yard has become a wintry playground. And a little snowscape does wonders for the holiday spirit.

Too cute! I love how excited they look while they are getting into their snow gear!! Did Ben do as good a job clearing snow as he did on the leaves?
