Boytown

What do you get when you mix four boys under four, some spectacular weather, a setting that can only be described as a kid's (and an adult's, for that matter) dream playground, and our nation's birthday? One heck of a lot of fun, a wee bit of noise, and lots of wonderful memories. Most of you now know that the Stockwells have their own unique way of celebrating the Fourth of July, and there really is nothing like it, anywhere. I'll save pictures of the parade for another post - there is just too much good material there. But here are some other shots from the weekend. We shared one of the cabins with Auntie Gwen and Brian, Jessica, Tony, and Caz, and Grandma and Grandpa. I'm pretty sure Grandma and Grandpa will need to log some serious time at the library or a monastery or some similarly silent location for the next few days - these boys are not the quietest bunch. But boy did they have fun!

Last summer, Grandpa bought this adorable mini picnic table to put on the porch at T'Kozy. I think he envisioned four little boys sitting quietly, enjoying a picnic lunch. The reality is slightly different, but the boys did all sit at the table a lot (just not all at the same time, and definitely not quietly), and we actually got them to sit still for a few seconds so we could take a picture....
before resuming car-play.

Adam has the best lady killer eyes. Looks like those boys are going to run the show out at the compound... and very soon. So sweet!

What a fun time! And what wonderful memories for the boys (and you) to have.
