A Few Firsts to Report

For Adam, first time driving the tractor with Daddy:

And first time driving Grandpa's fishing boat:

And just this week Ethan had his first big boy (i.e., Mommy doesn't need to get in the water) swimming lesson (he did so great!). No pictures to record the event (so much for those who say we're better about documenting our first child's firsts than subsequent children's firsts) - maybe I'll bring my camera next week so I can capture the little fish in action.

And for the whole Stockwell family (and particularly Ben the Farmer), our first garden meal of the season! We've had lots of lettuce this spring, but last week we enjoyed our first real feast of garden bounty: beans and beets. Now they're coming in droves (as are the zucchini and summer squash), so we're loving fresh veggies with every meal.
